The role – IT Support & Service Desk Technician

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IT Support & Service Desk Technician to join our IT Support team. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day IT support to internal users, ensuring requests and issues are resolved efficiently and professionally
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and user orientation
  • Deploy and maintain hardware (laptops, smartphones) and perform operating system and Office upgrades
  • Coordinate hardware maintenance and repairs, ensuring proper documentation and inventory integrity
  • Collaborate with vendors and local stakeholders for deliveries and on-site interventions
  • Participate in IT projects and support second-level or infrastructure tasks when required.

Your profile

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Proficiency in Windows 11 and Office 365 environments
  • Experience with SCCM for software deployment and updates
  • Strong knowledge of laptop hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ability to manage laptop and smartphone deployments
  • Skilled in software installation and configuration
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and inventory management tools
  • Understanding of iOS and macOS operating systems
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
