The role – IT Support & Service Desk Technician
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced IT Support & Service Desk Technician to join our IT Support team. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide day-to-day IT support to internal users, ensuring requests and issues are resolved efficiently and professionally
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and user orientation
- Deploy and maintain hardware (laptops, smartphones) and perform operating system and Office upgrades
- Coordinate hardware maintenance and repairs, ensuring proper documentation and inventory integrity
- Collaborate with vendors and local stakeholders for deliveries and on-site interventions
- Participate in IT projects and support second-level or infrastructure tasks when required.
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- Proficiency in Windows 11 and Office 365 environments
- Experience with SCCM for software deployment and updates
- Strong knowledge of laptop hardware maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ability to manage laptop and smartphone deployments
- Skilled in software installation and configuration
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and inventory management tools
- Understanding of iOS and macOS operating systems
- Fluent in both written and spoken English and Portuguese.
