Your role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing cybersecurity frameworks and solutions to protect 5G core networks in line with 3GPP security standards.

In this role, you will play a key role in:

• Leading the design and implementation of end-to-end cybersecurity architectures for the 5G core network, ensuring alignment with 3GPP security standards
• Applying in-depth knowledge of 3GPP security protocols for 5G networks, including security measures for user equipment (UE), access networks, and core networks
• Conducting comprehensive threat modelling and risk assessments for 5G core network services, identifying potential vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies.
• Developing and executing an end-to-end security strategy for the 5G core network, incorporating encryption, authentication, authorization, and data integrity mechanisms.
• Designing and implementing security controls for network slicing within the 5G core, ensuring isolated and secure environments for different service types and customers.
• Leading efforts to detect and respond to cyber incidents within the 5G core network, implementing advanced monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Collaborating with network engineering, operations, and product teams to integrate security measures into the design, implementation, and deployment of the 5G core network.
  
  

Your profile

• Strong expertise in 5G core network architecture and 3GPP security standards.
• Experience in designing and implementing Cybersecurity solutions for telecom networks.
• Proficiency in 3GPP security protocols such as authentication, encryption, and key exchange.
• Hands-on experience in Threat modelling, Risk assessment, and Incident response.
• Deep understanding of Network slicing security, Encryption mechanisms, and Regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, etc.).
