We are seeking a UX Architect to play a strategic role in shaping our product’s design vision and direction. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to identify business opportunities, define product roadmaps, and develop design solutions that meet user needs. You will lead design thinking, drive design decisions, and work closely with UX Designers to deliver exceptional user experiences. Additionally, you will continuously track key success metrics to measure design effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and inform data-driven design decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct Strategic Research
- Conduct research to identify user needs, business opportunities, and emerging trends.
- Provide insights to inform design vision and product strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision and roadmap.
- Develop and maintain design vision documents, product roadmaps, and design strategies.
- Establish design principles and standards.
- Break down design vision into actionable UX design tasks for UXDs.
- Ensure design tasks align with product goals and user needs.
- Plan and manage design sprints, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure design delivery aligns with development timelines.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for design success.
- Analyse user feedback, usability metrics, and UX analytics data to inform design decisions and iterations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors and Ergonomics, Cognitive Systems Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in UX, product design, product management or related fields.
- Skilled in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator and similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of design thinking, product development, and strategy.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, Jquery.
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centric processes and an excellent visual design aesthetic.
- Experience working cross functionally with designers, engineers and various stakeholders to coordinate, plan, execute and track product releases.
- Comfortable working in agile development environments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
