Role Purpose
Serve as the central insights and decision-support partner for Growth, Product, and Leadership. This role owns KPI frameworks, dashboards, and deep-dive analyses, turning data into clear recommendations that improve acquisition, activation, retention, merchant performance, TPV, and overall unit economics.
Key Responsibilities
KPI Framework & Dashboarding
- Define and maintain the North Star metrics and supporting KPIs, including:
- Acquisition: installs, registrations, KYC completion
- Activation: first top-up, first payment, first remittance, first card use
- Engagement & retention: WAU/MAU, cohorts, frequency, churn
- TPV, ARPU, LTV, payback period, and profitability by segment/product
- Merchant metrics: onboarding funnel, active merchants, TPV per merchant, churn.
- Build and maintain executive-ready dashboards in Power BI, connected to the data warehouse.
Deep-Dive Analytics
- Perform funnel, cohort, and segmentation analyses to identify bottlenecks and opportunities in:
- Thawani Pay app journeys (bills, transfers, remittance, insurance, Athar, Sama, Tawani Store)
- Mojab and Mojab Go usage (top-ups, card usage, group payments).
- Merchant behaviours across Tajer App, Merchant Portal, Payment Gateway and Payment Link.
- Assess the impact of marketing campaigns, CRM journeys, UI/UX changes, and product launches on KPIs.
Experimentation & Strategic Support
- Partner with Performance Marketing, CRM, and Product to design, measure, and interpret A/B tests and experiments.
- Develop data-backed recommendations for pricing, incentives, targeting, and UX changes.
- Support CMO, CEO, and CBO with data for business cases, board materials, and investor discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 6–10+ years in Product Analytics, Growth Analytics, or Business Intelligence, ideally in FinTech or payments.
- Strong skills in SQL, experience with a cloud data warehouse (e.g., BigQuery/Snowflake), and confidence in Power BI or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with GA4, Firebase, Adjust, Mixpanel, and experimentation frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into simple, actionable stories for senior stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and products evolve.
