Job Description:

As the first creative hire, you will define the visual signature of a next-generation music game. This role involves owning the technical and artistic direction, crafting highly optimized assets, and developing creative tools. You'll ensure cutting-edge visual design meets restrictive XR hardware limitations, working closely with product and development leads to push boundaries in immersive entertainment.

What you will do:

• Profile, analyze, and optimize all visual aspects for XR performance, focusing on mobile chipsets.
• Design, author, and maintain performant, stylized shaders using Unity's URP/Shader Graph or HLSL.
• Develop, test, and integrate dynamic real-time particle systems and shaders that react to music.
  
  

The ideal candidate:

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Artist in XR, games, or real-time graphics.
• Comfort working in a highly experimental, rapid-prototyping environment.
• Strong proficiency with the Unity engine, including asset workflows, scripting, and VFX systems.
