About The Role

What You'll Be Doing To Drive Impact
As the Senior Product Owner, you will be the technical engine for a cross-functional team (Engineers, Designers, and Product Manager) dedicated to our core distribution services. This is a highly technical, execution-focused role where you will:
- Own the Technical Blueprint: Translate complex, global distribution challenges (e.g., getting content to retail partners, e-commerce platforms, or marketing channels) into precise, actionable technical requirements and user stories.
- Be the Engineering Counterpart: Act as the primary technical sparring partner for the engineering team. Confidently challenge and refine architectural proposals to ensure every development is optimized for speed, global performance, and iron-clad scalability.
- Maximize Service Reliability: Rigorously identify, prioritize, and mitigate edge cases, security risks, and potential failure points within our Content Delivery Network (CDN) and public API endpoints.
- Drive the Backlog: Take full ownership of the product backlog, relentlessly prioritizing features, performance enhancements, and technical debt to ensure the highest reliability and speed of our content delivery services.
- Communicate Value: Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and key stakeholders, occasionally joining customer discussions to articulate the technical capabilities and business value of our solutions.
We're looking for an experienced technical product leader who has built and managed high-performance, API-first products.
- Proven Product Ownership (3+ Years): Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner in a high-growth SaaS or PaaS environment, managing technically complex, API-first products.
- Deep CDN & Distribution Expertise: A strong, practical understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), including caching strategies (TTL, invalidation), global routing, and performance optimization.
- Technical Authority: You are comfortable discussing system architecture, analyzing technical trade-offs, and pushing back on solutions to ensure long-term scalability and performance.
- API Fluency: Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and integration workflows. You can define API contracts and champion the needs of developers consuming our product.
- Strategic Execution: Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and the skill to ruthlessly prioritize the backlog to deliver maximum customer value.
- Clarity in Communication: Exceptional ability to clearly articulate complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences, building alignment across all stakeholders.
- Previous experience as a Software Engineer, Solutions Architect, or in a similar technical role.
- Experience in Digital Asset Management (DAM), PIM, MarTech, or AdTech ecosystems.
- Knowledge of complex media delivery, including image/video transformations and optimizing rich media at scale.
