Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Client Premises, Dubai, UAE
Salary: AED 11,000 to 14,000 per month

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise network infrastructures across on-premise and cloud environments. This role acts as a Level 2 escalation point, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of all network services while supporting project delivery and operational stability.
Operations & Engineering:
- Serve as Level 2 escalation for advanced network incidents, performing packet captures, RCA, and deep analysis.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), MPLS, VLANs, and Spanning Tree.
- Administer firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper), VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, and Cloud WAF.
- Support wireless environments (Cisco, Aruba, ISE, ClearPass).
- Monitor and optimise network performance using SNMP, NetFlow, and NPM tools (SolarWinds, Dynatrace).
- Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration documentation, and standards.
- Manage AWS networking: Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, ALB, VPC peering, Security Groups, and NACLs.
- Ensure adherence to change management and DR standards (RTO/RPO).
Security & Compliance:
- Enforce network security best practices and support vulnerability remediation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001, SOC, and internal security guidelines.
Project & Support:
- Deliver network components for infrastructure projects and migrations.
- Prepare implementation plans, runbooks, and knowledge base documentation.
- Provide 24x7 support for critical network issues and act as SME for L2 operations.
Architecture & Design:
- Design scalable, secure, multi-site network solutions across on-prem and cloud.
- Support technology evaluations, POCs, and roadmap planning aligned with business needs.
Technical Requirements:
- Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLANs, STP, Cisco IOS/NX-OS.
- Wireless: Cisco, Aruba, ISE, ClearPass.
- Security: Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, IDS/IPS, VPN, ACLs, Cloud WAF.
- Load Balancing: F5 LTM, NetScaler, ALB.
- Cloud: AWS networking (mandatory).
- Automation: Python or Ansible.
- Monitoring: SNMP, NetFlow, QoS, NPM tools.
- Certifications: CCNP required, ITIL preferred.
Key Qualifications:
- 8+ years in enterprise Network Operations.
- 5+ years with Cisco ACI (EPG, Bridge Domains, Contracts).
- 5+ years with Palo Alto Firewalls.
- Experience with F5 LTM.
- Hands-on AWS networking (TGW, ALB, VPC Peering)
- CCNP certified.
