The Systems Engineer is the technical authority in project deliveries. The role ensures that projects have robust, feasible, and cost-effective technical solutions that comply with customer requirements, internal standards, and applicable regulations. The Systems Engineer is a key resource supporting project managers in all technical aspects and advice the project’s engineering team in executing technical tasks.

What You Will Be Doing
- Technical support for project managers
- Deliver technical input and provide technical leadership to ensure decision-making
- Secure technical quality assurance
- Provide system solutions and improvements
- Deliver technical cost calculations
- Ensure project deliveries are according to customer requirements
- B.Sc or M.Sc in system engineering, automation, cybernetics, or similar
- Relevant practical experience, electrical/mechanical background, and strong personal suitability may compensate for the lack of formal education.
- Knowledge from vessel/offshore and preferable from naval is an advantage
- Experience in / from system design and integration is considered advantageous
- Experience in taking a technical leading role in teams and collaborating across disciplines is seen as positive
- Practical and hands-on experience work with assembling and mounting systems with multidiscipline knowledge, e.gh. both electrical and mechanical.
This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority. The successful candidate may start work with limited access whilst the clearance is being processed. Please note that this might affect the offer process or employment.
