New Computing Architectures Researcher
On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned information and communication technology company, we are seeking passionate and talented individuals to join our team as New Computing Architectures Researcher.
Job Description:
- Conduct in-depth research on innovative AI clusters and super-node architectures tailored for generative recommendation training and inference, or energy-efficient LLM inference on devices such as mobile phones and automobiles. Track cutting-edge industry technologies, analyze technological trends, produce high-quality research reports, and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps.
- Lead the pre-research and development of new cluster and super-node architectures and device computing architectures. Explore innovative architectural paradigms, algorithms, and technical approaches. Identify and solve key technical challenges in system architecture design and performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware development, software development, and product design. Translate research insights into practical product requirements, and contribute to architecture design and development of products.
- Participate in domestic and international academic collaborations, analyze industry patent landscapes of new computing architectures, contribute to key patent filings, and enhance the company's technical competitiveness.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Electronic Information, Communication Engineering, or related field.\
- Familiarity with cluster and super-node architectures or edge device computing architectures. Knowledge of distributed, parallel, or edge computing, etc. Experience in generative recommendation acceleration or on-device LLM inference is preferred.
- Solid programming skills with proficiency in at least one of the programming languages (Python, C, or C++). Familiarity with Linux operating systems and capable of algorithm design and implementation.
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently under pressure and demonstrate a strong interest and innovative mindset in new computing architectures.
- Strong market and technological insight, with the ability to identify trends and new opportunities in the industry.
- Ability to work in diverse, cross-functional environments with an open and collaborative mindset.
