Job Mission

As Software System Test Engineer, you will test the software packages at system level before the software is released to ASML customers for beta test. Your mission is to provide the test team with tests so they can meet the test coverage requirements. By focusing on test automation, you will deliver these results in a shorter time.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you are a member of the Applications Software Integration team. This means we are looking for somebody who will:

Create / maintain / extend / improve system level test cases by improving system level test coverage:

• The system is continuously evolving; thus, their system level regression test cases also need continuous attention
• When new features are/will be added to the software, the system level test team will judge if a new system level test design must be delivered together with the software feature

Prepare / execute / analyze alpha tests, weekly and daily validation tests:

• Executing all testing tasks in the test plans
• Report all the found issues found with a description that will make easy for developers can solve them
• Report the information in an overview

Develop test automation scripts to gain efficiency in testing

• Migrate and split existing test cases to run faster on virtual machines
• Develop analysis capabilities for quick pass/fail analysis

Test infrastructure is made of proto systems/dev-benches/test-benches and test PCs

• These test PCs must run reliably and repeatedly the tests
• These test PCs up to date and running on the ASML network

Hands-on experience with

• Python
• PowerShell
• Robot-Framework

Experience

A technical bachelor degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience with software testing
• Minimum 3+ years of experience with test automation tools (Robot-Framework is a must)
• Minimum 6 years of experience in regression and progression system testing
• Hands-on experience with data analytics for results visualization
• ISTQB certified
• Preferred from Hitech Background.
