As a Software Support Engineer, you are the first point of contact for Service Engineers, distributors, and customers when software incidents occur. Whether it concerns simple questions or complex software issues, you analyze the root cause, think along on structural improvements, and help optimize processes. In addition, you coach customers, follow up on software changes, and actively contribute to an optimal customer experience.


Your key responsibilities:

  • You provide technical support via email, phone, and remote tools, ensuring accurate administrative follow-up. You participate in a flexible on-call rotation to support customers outside regular business hours.
  • You support Service Engineers and international Lifecycle Services teams, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
  • You follow training programs and regularly align with technical colleagues to keep your knowledge up to date.
  • You guide the commissioning and start-up of software-critical systems (such as MATRIX Pro) and work closely with customers and engineering teams.
  • You advise internal teams, test new developments, and provide targeted feedback to the development team to continuously improve products and processes.


Your profile:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, Automation, or have equivalent relevant experience.
  • You communicate fluently in English and feel comfortable working in an international environment.
  • You are stress-resistant, enjoy working in a team, and take initiative when needed.
  • You have an interest in mechanics, electricity, electronics, networking, and industrial automation.
  • Experience in an industrial or production environment is a strong asset.
  • Occasional travel does not pose a problem for you.
  • You are customer-oriented and communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
