SensitHaptics — The #1 Haptics Platform in SimRacing
About Us
SensitHaptics builds the most advanced high-fidelity haptics in SimRacing and competitive gaming — a category we currently lead, as confirmed by countless industry influencers and top-tier reviewers. We’re a DeepTech startup with real commercial momentum: strong revenue traction across the EU and US, rapidly expanding OEM integrations, and a product that has become the benchmark in the eSports sim hardware scene.
We are looking for an FPGA engineer who not only implements VHDL, but also simulates, tests and systematically debugs designs – right down to the hardware/board level.
Tasks
- Development and maintenance of FPGA designs in VHDL (RTL)
- Setup of test benches, simulation and debugging (e.g. ModelSim/Questa/Vivado Simulator)
- Verification of designs, reproducible tests, troubleshooting with logs/waveforms
- Support with hardware integration (board bring-up, systematic troubleshooting)
- Analysis of circuits and data sheets (component selection, interfaces, boundary conditions)
Requirements
Must-haves
- Very good VHDL (RTL, clean architecture, debugging experience)
- Practical simulation & testing/verification (test benches, waveform analysis)
- Rock-solid understanding of digital and analogue circuits
- Ability to analyse circuits/systems (root cause instead of trial and error)
- Experience in working with datasheets and electronic components
Nice-to-have
- C/C++ (embedded environment/integration)
- Python (test automation, tooling, log analysis)
- EMC/EMI expertise (design for EMC, typical measures) is a clear advantage
Benefits
- Shape the firmware architecture of the market-leading haptics platform in SimRacing.
- High autonomy and direct influence over core product and technology decisions.
- Fast cycles, flat hierarchy, and a founder-led engineering culture.
- Flexible work hours and modern engineering tooling.
- High-end hardware, test gear, and a fully-equipped development environment.
- Education credits to attend courses or industry tradeshows.
- Competitive market compensation including employee stock options
We look forward to receiving your application!
