We are seeking an experienced Senior Contract Manager to support a major transportation infrastructure project in Ireland. This role will focus on managing complex NEC contracts and supporting the successful delivery of a high-profile transportation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage NEC-based contracts within the transportation infrastructure sector, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations.
• Oversee contract changes, amendments, and negotiations, formalizing modifications in line with NEC requirements.
• Ensure alignment with contract management standards, promptly reporting and addressing any non-compliance.
• Manage commercial relationships with contractors and consultants to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Review draft contracts, coordinate with legal and commercial advisors, and lead negotiations, providing guidance to project leadership.
• Approve subcontractor documentation, certify payments, and assess defined costs, forecasts, and pain/gain share mechanisms.
• Conduct delay and disruption assessments, including damage calculations, and review compensation event submissions and payment applications.
• Develop, implement, and monitor contract management strategies and KPIs, maintaining a comprehensive KPI framework.
• Review and approve contractor and consultant performance evaluations and associated improvement plans.

Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience in contract management and administration, with strong expertise in NEC contracts.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record managing NEC contracts on large-scale, complex transportation or infrastructure projects.
• Strong claims management and contract administration skills across the NEC suite.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement contract management strategies and performance frameworks.
• Advanced negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including reporting and presentations.
• Proficiency in contract management systems.
