To strengthen our Product Design Studio Competence Center, we are looking for an Electrical Transient Simulation Engineer to join an international R&D environment. You will work on advanced engineering projects for a global client from the energy sector, contributing to the development and validation of electrical systems used in industrial and power applications.

Your tasks
- Developing and implementing design rules for transformers and power electronic systems
- Modeling and validating transient phenomena in medium- and high-frequency electrical systems
- Analyzing overvoltage events and the impact of transient conditions on electrical networks
- Using simulation tools (MATLAB, FEM) to analyze network resonance and system configurations
- Providing technical support during the requirements definition phase and to the quality teams
- Taking ownership of assigned work packages within R&D projects
- Contributing to intellectual property and risk management activities
- MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in transient analysis and simulation of electrical power systems
- Knowledge of grid-connected power converters and switching behavior
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and electrical simulation tools (Simulink, PLECS, LTSpice, EMTP)
- Experience with FEM tools (Ansys, Comsol) – nice to have
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in international teams
- Very good command of English
