This role is for a QA / Test Automation Engineer who treats quality as an engineering discipline.

You’ll work within a specialist agency that focuses purely on high-quality test automation for complex client environments. Projects are modern, Agile, and delivered alongside senior engineers who care about maintainability, collaboration, and doing things properly.

This is not a junior-heavy setup. You’ll be surrounded by experienced professionals, with space to influence how testing is approached and embedded across teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement automated tests across web, API, and mobile
• Work closely with developers and product teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality
• Actively contribute to improving test strategies, frameworks, and tooling
• Analyse defects, report clearly, and help teams prevent issues
• Share knowledge and raise the overall quality bar within the team

Core Technical Skills (Test Automation–Focused)

• Strong hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as:
• Playwright, WebDriverIO, Cypress, TestCafé
• Selenium, Cucumber
• RestAssured, Postman, SoapUI
• Appium (mobile testing)
• Solid programming background in one or more of:
• Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, .NET, Python
• Experience testing across frontend, APIs, and mobile applications
• CI/CD experience using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Comfortable working with issue tracking and reporting tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Strong understanding of quality engineering in Agile environments

What They’re Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience as a QA / Test Automation Engineer
• HBO or WO level education
• TMap and/or ISTQB certification
• Strong analytical mindset and clear communication style
• Confident working with clients and multidisciplinary teams
• Fluent Dutch (spoken and written) - this is essential
