Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide visible, role-model leadership, combining operational excellence with strategic thinking and strong financial awareness.
  • Lead and successfully deliver complex projects across a varied portfolio within this sector.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering projects of comparable scale and complexity.
  • Take full ownership of project outcomes, showing clear leadership and accountability.
  • Remain adaptable and effective while working with multiple key clients and stakeholders.
  • Apply strong commercial judgement across pre-construction, procurement, and project execution phases.
  • Implement and maintain robust project controls to ensure successful delivery of major projects.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project environment.
  • Contribute actively to business strategy development, analysis, and implementation.
  • Manage costs, programmes, and quality to meet agreed deadlines and performance targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Deliver on commitments consistently and within agreed timescales.
  • Plan, allocate, and manage resources (people, budget, materials, and support) efficiently and effectively.
  • Challenge existing processes and approaches to improve performance, outcomes, and decision-making.
  • Assess and balance risks and opportunities when making informed project and commercial decisions.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience managing engineering projects, within the mission critical industry.
  • Advanced project management capability, including planning, scheduling, and budget control.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and related tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels.
