Job Description
- Design and develop firmware for embedded systems using C/C++ and other relevant programming languages;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine software requirements;
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including software specifications and design documents;
- Implement and optimize algorithms for embedded applications;
- Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues;
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems;
- Support testing and integration of embedded software with hardware components;
- Actively identify and implement process and product improvements;
- Provide technical support to team members and end-users as needed.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in embedded software development and design
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded hardware platforms
- Knowledge of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., SPI, I2C, UART)
- Understanding of low-level hardware interactions and debugging techniques
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development tools
- Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects
- Proficiency in English
- Experience with safety-critical systems is a plus
