Job Title: AI/ML Engineer
Location: Madrid (Avenida Manoteras)
Employment Type: Full-time regular
The job
We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer with expertise in Azure Databricks to play a central role in the development, deployment, and optimization of our enterprise AI platform. The ideal candidate will play a key role in scaling our AI/ML initiatives across the organization, and they will have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Python.
Responsibilities
- Implement, optimize and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Databricks.
- Co-develop data and model workflows in Databricks ensuring compliance with security, governance and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in ML and GenAI pipelines, deployments and model performance.
- Champion best practices for Databricks workspace management, cluster configuration, and cost optimization.
- Drive the escalation and adoption of Databricks as the core platform for AI/ML initiatives, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise architecture.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ideal Skills
- 1-3 years of experience with Azure Databricks, and Python.
- Exposure to data architecture, cloud-native ML/GenAI design or similar
- Involved in the design and implementation of robust data pipelines and architectures, ensuring efficient data governance with Unity Catalog and version control using Git.
- Experience in improving data and model pipelines efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Databricks certifications (e.g., Databricks Certified Data Engineer/ML Engineer) are a plus.
- Strong mindset for continuous improvement and innovation, essential for reaching new heights in a nascent Databricks practice.
