This is a Senior Frontend Engineer role for someone who values technical depth, ownership, and performance-critical systems. This is not a design-led UI role, but real-time frontend engineering where milliseconds matter.

You will work closely with a small, highly experienced engineering team building and evolving the core trading UI and adjacent trading products.

What you will be doing

• Building and maintaining high-performance, real-time frontend interfaces
• Working primarily with React and TypeScript on the core trading platform
• Translating complex trading workflows into robust, intuitive UIs
• Collaborating closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders
• Making pragmatic technical decisions in a fast-moving, high-ownership team
• Continuously improving performance, reliability, and developer experience

Essential experience

• React: 2–3+ years with strong technical and architectural understanding
• TypeScript: 5+ years of professional experience
• Technically strong frontend engineer, not design-only focused
• Experience in small, fast-moving teams with real responsibility
• Senior-level independence, accountability, and decision-making

Beneficial experience

• Node.js exposure
• React Native experience
• Interest in trading, finance, or crypto markets
• Experience working on complex, data-heavy applications

Package and logistics

Contract: 12 months initially, then permanent

Salary: €80,000-100,000 plus benefits

Location: Hybrid, 3 days in the Amsterdam office and 2 days remote

Work abroad: Up to 60 days every 6 months
