About The Role

As a Software Engineer at Jasper, you will be at the forefront of AI innovation, working with cutting-edge technologies that are redefining content creation and marketing strategies. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this position is open to candidates located anywhere within the continental United States and provides a platform to grow your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering, preferably within a VC-backed startup environment
  • Proficiency in Typescript and React
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful software solutions
  • Experience navigating ambiguity through rapid prototyping and iterative development
  • Experience in scaling applications and addressing performance challenges
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy features utilizing the latest in AI and machine learning technologies, focusing on core platform areas such as content generation, collaboration tools, data pipelines, and integrations
  • Solve complex technical challenges that push the boundaries of AI capabilities
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code to solve intricate problems with elegant solutions
  • Take ownership of critical features from conception through deployment, ensuring quality and performance
  • Optimize platform performance and proactively address scalability challenges as the user base grows
  • Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate user needs into technical solutions
  • Prototype rapidly to validate new AI features and enhance user experiences
  • Contribute to architectural decisions that will shape the technical evolution of Jasper’s platform
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative AI implementations
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within scope
