Urgently hiring for a Leading Insurance Firm at Qatar
Role: Senior Lead Manager – P&C (Property & Casualty)
- Lead end-to-end underwriting operations for Property, Engineering & Casualty
- Manage and mentor a team of 10+ underwriting professionals
- Drive profitable growth, retention, and large corporate accounts
- Build and manage strong client, broker, and global reinsurance relationships (London, DIFC, Singapore)
- Underwrite complex risks, negotiate major deals, and arrange facultative reinsurance
- Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, audits, and governance
- Coordinate with claims, reinsurance, actuarial, finance, legal, and compliance teams
Requirements
- 15+ years underwriting experience (Property & Engineering focus)
- 10+ years in leadership role; proven portfolio profitability
- GCC experience preferred;
- Engineering graduate preferred; ACII / Dip CII / FIII mandatory
- Strong technical, negotiation, leadership, and analytical skills
