Our client is a prestigious international hedge fund with over two decades of success in fixed income strategies. They are seeking a Senior C# Engineer to join their Middle Office and Trade Support team. In this role, you will collaborate with a high-performing global team to deliver business-critical software solutions that power cutting-edge trading and research operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new business solutions using a diverse technology stack, including C#, WinForms, WPF, Python, JavaScript/React, and SQL (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
  • Own and enhance the central trade-booking application and APIs for ingesting and exposing trade data.
  • Develop and maintain FIX trade infrastructure to support electronic trading workflows.
  • Operate and optimise the real-time P&L and Risk engine, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with traders and stakeholders to ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements:

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in C#, with strong knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
  • 6+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL, including data modeling and database design.
  • Solid expertise in architecture design, system design, and data structures.
  • Strong proficiency in Python.
  • Proven track record working across diverse technologies, applications, and end-to-end development.
  • Financial industry experience is essential.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and React is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
