Job Summary
The Assistant Accountant will handle the day-to-day finance activities including accounts receivable, accounts payable, T&E and fund expense recharges for the Barings Australia groups. The individual will work closely with the wider regional APAC and global finance teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process vendor, service provider, and T&E invoices
- Collaborate with Procurement team on procurement process
- Manage fund expense recharges
- Arrange client invoice and billings
- Assist with the month end and year end book closing activities under both local statutory and USGAAP requirements.
- Provide support to ad hoc projects from time to time
- Accounting qualification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in financial services and/or asset management industry
- Be both hands on contributor as well as team player
- Detailed oriented
- Worked in a multinational corporate environment
- Experience in asset management industry
- Application skills including Workday, Concur, Zip, Excel & HSBCnet
