Job Responsibilities:
• Analyse data from connected heavy commercial vehicle fleets to discover patterns and extract meaningful insights, which can be used to improve and guide business decisions.
• Develop processes and software tools to support the analysis and reporting of powertrain and vehicle test data.
• Prepare high quality engineering documentation on development activities and regularly report on project status to internal and external contributors.
• Research and develop machine learning algorithms and/or predictive models for heavy-duty trucks.
Requirements:
• BS/MS or equivalent degree in computer engineering, data engineering, mechatronics engineering, control and automation engineering, statistics or other related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python and/or R.
• Familiarity with data warehouse systems.
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with automotive/industrial software development processes.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries such as Scikit and Keras is a plus.
• Experience with design of experiment methods and statistical modelling is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Services is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work individually or as part of an engineering team in a fast-paced environment.
