Task Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into design that align with Azure Well Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.

Design a data storage solution for relational and non-relational data.

Describe high availability and disaster recovery strategies and design business continuity solutions.

Design identity, governance and monitoring solutions.

Design compute and network solutions.

Design and application architecture and data integration.

Design infrastructure solutions.

Provide technical support during project implementation phases, including proof-of-concepts, pilots, and testing.

Assess business requirements and translate them into technical solutions and communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.

Define and maintain architecture blueprints, reference models, and design patterns for cloud services.

Enforce architectural standards, policies, and governance frameworks.

Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and deployment.

Lead cloud migration and modernization projects.

Ensure best practices for Azure resource management, security, and compliance.

Integrate security best practices, including identity management, access control, and data protection.

Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to gather requirements and provide architectural guidance.

Document architectures and provide technical guidance.

Implement, secure, scalable, cost-effective, and resilient Azure cloud architectures aligned with business, technical requirements and BCP/DRP planning partnering with Developers, Administrators, Security engineers and Data engineers

Use tools like Azure DevOps and ServiceNow to track tasks, incidents, and changes.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO) and internal security policies.

Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Explore and integrate new Azure and O365 services to enhance business capabilities.

Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience in the airline or aviation industry is a strong advantage.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.

High level of autonomy, initiative, and accountability.

Essential Requirements For The Position:

Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud, hybrid and on Prem architecture and related infrastructure

Deep knowledge of Azure services (compute, storage, networking, security).

Proficiency in cloud security architecture, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance in regulated industries.

Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud networking, and hybrid cloud architectures.

Experience with cloud architecture frameworks and patterns.

Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (e.g., ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform).

Strong understanding of security, identity, and compliance in Azure.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:

Permanent contract.

Full-time position based in our HQ in Luxembourg.

Occasional travel required.

The position holder might have to be an stand-by outside the normal office hours and weekends in case of incidents.

Standard office hours are to be expected Monday - Friday.

A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of a positive selection.
