Role Description
This is a contract role for a Business Analyst. The selected candidate will play a key role in understanding business needs, gathering and analyzing data, and providing actionable insights to support decision-making processes. The Business Analyst will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, working closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, and ensuring that solutions align with organizational goals.
The role will require collaboration with various departments to define project requirements, develop business cases, and implement solutions that drive operational efficiency and enhance business performance. The Business Analyst will also be responsible for creating detailed reports, presenting findings, and supporting the implementation of new systems or processes. A strong understanding of business processes, data analysis, and stakeholder management is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
Business Analysis Expertise: Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and gap analysis.
Data Analysis Skills: Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data, providing actionable insights and recommendations that support business decisions.
Communication and Documentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise reports and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively.
Process Improvement Knowledge: Experience in identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency, and in supporting the design and implementation of new business processes.
Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to engage with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Project Management Experience: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, ensuring that business analysis deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools and software, such as MS Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Relevant Academic Qualifications: A degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Economics, or a related field is preferred. Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent are an advantage.
