Function Head – Internal Audit (IT, Cyber & Data Analytics)

Role Purpose

Provide senior oversight of audit coverage related to airline IT systems, cybersecurity, information security, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain audit coverage of airline IT systems, cybersecurity, and data governance.
• Approve audits of ERP platforms, flight operations systems, engineering systems, and digital applications.
• Evaluate effectiveness of cybersecurity governance, incident response, and access management controls.
• Oversee audits of data integrity, privacy, and technology resilience.
• Engage senior IT and security leadership on audit outcomes and technology risk trends.
• Promote data-enabled and technology-assisted audit techniques.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 15–18 years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, or digital assurance, including senior exposure to enterprise systems and cybersecurity environments.

Qualifications & Certifications

Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. CIA required; CISA strongly preferred. Experienced Omani nationals may be appointed without certification subject to completion within 12 months.
