Your attitudes we value:

  • At least 2 year of experience on similar position.
  • Understanding of internet protocol versions IPv4, subnetting, switching protocols.
  • Hands on experience on Cisco LAN switches and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Knowledge to support & basic configuration of Cisco Access Points & Arista sensors for wireless infrastructure.
  • Experience on site-to-site VPN implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot L2 network tickets and service requests.
  • Basic configuration capabilities such as basic ports switching, routing rules, ports, firewalls rules, NAT rules, application filtering, URL filtering etc.
  • Knowledge on raising TAC with OEM vendors for desired results or troubleshoot with TAC for major escalations when required.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving ability, great at organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking.
  • Ability to explain & coordinate with cross functional corporate teams to work towards achieving the desired outcome.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Nice to have: ITIL process understanding, DHCP, DNS, Load Balancing Concepts, WLC knowledge & functioning of SSID’s, CCNA or Palo Alto firewall equivalent certification is preferred, basic automation knowledge on Python, Ansible, Rest API etc.

Your daily tasks:

  • Level 2 troubleshooting of network and security technologies.
  • Documentation – support procedure, inventory update.
  • Vendor coordination with telecoms service provider & OEM.
  • Involvement into all network - wired, wireless, network security infrastructure day to day issues.
  • Should be able to plan and implement/execute a global delivery centre, which includes designing, acquisition, deployment, configuration etc.
  • Change management: CR implementation within the SLA defined, post implementation review (PIR), reversal of change.
  • Capacity management: capacity planning of for IS devices, spares & other consumables (SFP, Optical Fibre Cables).
  • Business Continuity Plans/Disaster recovery R: prevent single points of failure, BCP are offered to projects by identifying alternative DR sites.
