A leading Digital Media Co. is appointing a Senior Director – Media Monetization & Partnerships to own and shape its end-to-end advertising revenue engine across the region. This is an executive leadership role with full accountability for monetization strategy, organizational design, and long-term revenue growth - not just sales delivery.


You will operate as a core member of the leadership team, setting the commercial vision, building scalable revenue infrastructure, and positioning the business as a dominant advertising partner in the regional media ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and lead the company’s regional advertising monetization vision and multi-year revenue roadmap
  • Own P&L responsibility for advertising revenue with full accountability for annual and long-term growth targets
  • Architect and scale the regional sales organization, including agency, direct, programmatic, and partnerships functions
  • Establish senior executive relationships with holding groups, key agencies, and top-tier advertisers at C-suite level
  • Drive innovation in monetization models across sponsorships, branded content, audience solutions, and emerging formats
  • Partner with Product, Data, Tech, and Content leadership to influence roadmap priorities that unlock new revenue streams
  • Set pricing frameworks, trading models, and commercial governance to maximize yield and margin
  • Lead enterprise-level negotiations and strategic deals that shape the company’s market position
  • Represent the business externally as a senior industry voice within the media and advertising ecosystem
  • Build a performance culture with strong cadence around forecasting, pipeline health, and revenue discipline


Candidate Profile:


  • 15+ years of leadership experience in media, advertising, or scaled digital platforms
  • Proven ownership of large regional or multi-market ad revenue businesses at a senior leadership level
  • Established executive relationships across major agency groups and flagship regional advertisers
  • Track record of building and leading senior management layers, not just sales teams
  • Strong commercial acumen across pricing, yield management, and deal structuring
  • Strategic operator comfortable influencing product and business direction, not only revenue outcomes
  • Deep understanding of the GCC / MENA advertising landscape
