About The Role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Frontend Developer to join our eCommerce team. This fully remote role is ideal for a professional with a strong proficiency in UI development and a passion for creating engaging online shopping experiences. As a Frontend Developer, you will work closely with design, UX, product management, and other stakeholders to implement customer-facing solutions that enhance usability, accessibility, and performance of our websites. Your primary focus will be on developing responsive, adaptive, and high-performance web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring that our digital storefront remains intuitive, fast, and accessible across all devices and browsers. You will be part of an agile team, participating in planning, development, testing, and deployment processes, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in our digital offerings.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in front-end web development
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS, AngularJS, or Vue.js
  • Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or similar
  • Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and backend integration
  • Experience with version control systems like Git
  • Proficiency in browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards such as WCAG
  • Understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Preferred: Experience with npm, Node.js, deno, and state management tools like Redux
  • Preferred: Retail industry experience
  • Educational background in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related fields; a Bachelor’s degree is desired, Master’s degree is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement customer-facing web solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with Brand Teams, Product Managers, QA, Analytics, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate progress effectively
  • Create responsive and adaptive website applications optimized for speed, performance, and accessibility
  • Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and assist in defining front-end architecture and best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and perform unit testing to ensure code quality and maintainability
  • Adhere to style guides, pattern libraries, and software development lifecycle standards
  • Optimize website performance and SEO to enhance user experience and search engine rankings
  • Coordinate with the front-end team to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices across projects
