You will join a team responsible for developing globally deployed building‑automation products.

Your new role

You will work within a collaborative team of software engineers to enhance market‑leading building solutions. Your responsibilities include:

• Delivering software engineering tasks across the full software development lifecycle
• Working within an Agile development environment
• Providing responsive customer support for developed software solutions
• Collaborating with team members to identify best‑practice approaches for software and processes

Key success factors include:

• Meeting or exceeding product development goals
• Productivity, quality, and timeliness of development tasks
• Compliance with process standards
• Responsiveness to customer needs

Major challenges include:

• Delivering high‑quality software solutions on time
• Designing elegant solutions to technically complex problems

• Internal teams such as Marketing, Development, UX, Test, Process, and Quality
• Other business units involved in customer understanding and release testing
• Global development teams for coordination and collaboration

What you'll need to succeed

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience delivering high‑quality web‑based solutions using:
• HTML5, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS
• State management libraries (Redux, Content, Zustand)
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Experience with containerisation technologies (preferably Docker)
• Ability to design performant and scalable software
• Experience with Agile development and automated unit/integration testing

Highly Valued

• Backend development experience, including:
• Web service development (.NET/C++ stack, REST, WCF, gRPC)
• Service hosting in on‑premise and cloud environments

Education & Background

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• 5–10 years’ experience in commercial product development
