Job Description:

• Senior Engineer as part of the Core Delivery team aligned to a particular service.
• Ideally through experience you will enhance your skills across multiple specializations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Detailed understanding of Security Technologies & Products
• TCP/IP fundamentals
• Multivendor Firewalls ( Ex; Paloalto, checkpoint, Fortigate etc)
• Deep expertise in 1 or 2 technology stacks and ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Ability to coach and guide the team of Engineers or other Service Management Staff
• Ability to identify requirements and create a solution architecture that meets identified requirements
• Ability to analyze the solution or processes (including, but not limited to Service Management) and offer ways to simplify it.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software or infrastructure issues, troubleshooting using tools or debugging a large codebase.
• Improve team operation practices by incorporating best practices
• Successfully launches new features or re-architects old features. Begins to balance technology with business value
• Extensive service Management, scripting, packaging tools, or programming knowledge in various software languages
• Experience / Proficiency in object-oriented design and analysis.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills with an ability to visualize processes and outcomes.
• Experience in system performance monitoring and tuning.
• Continually improves system monitoring and alerting.
• Identifies and fixes the security vulnerabilities.
• Integrates software or existing solutions with existing systems.
• Ability to develop test plans and quality assurance procedures.
• Recommends changes in policies and procedures.
• Strong hands-on experience in installation configuration and troubleshooting of network and security products in a multivendor environment.
• Experience in performing analysis and diagnosis of complex network and security problems in large data centers
• Experience in problem solving on IP core network/security including routing convergence issues
• Strong analytical approach to diagnose and resolve any issue, and to synthesize complexities into clear communication and action plans
• Plan and execute complex network & security upgrade and migration/integration activities.
• Plan and execute the Datacentre Implementation Activities w.r.t Security Technologies and Solutions.
• Act as a technical focal point for complex network and security problem resolution.
• Produce architectural Security designs for large scale networks.
• Work directly with senior management and business unit heads when required.
• Require excellent communication skills with a firm hand on documentation and presentation.
• Associate business context to technical issues and bridge the comprehension gap between technical audience and non-technical audience.
