In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Make life better! In this role, you challenge the actual design of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBAs) based on specifications and quality requirements for all Philips business units. You will be instrumental in pioneering AI-driven approaches in PCBA layout design, combining hands-on experience with AI with your scripting expertise.

You will be responsible for:
- Being responsible for all aspects of PCBA layout design.
- Embracing and efficiently using Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions and features built into high-end CAD tools.
- Developing and implementing the actual Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) based on specifications and business requirements.
- Serving as a bridge-builder to the technology teams working on CAD tool optimization.
- Close collaboration with electronic design engineers and specialists in PCBA technology, signal integrity, and power integrity.
- Ensuring a meaningful contribution to the evolving way of working within the Electronic Design Services (EDS) group.
- Ensuring the quality and reliability of the designed PCBAs.
- End-to-end design-flow experience in PCBA development.
- AI experience: hands-on application of LLM’s tools like ChatGPT or Copilot.
- Experience with the development of application scripts in Python/C/C++.
- Proficiency in high-end CAD tools for PCBA design (like Siemens Xpedition, Cadence Allegro, etc.).
- Knowledge of PCBA technology (materials, stack-up, components, manufacturability, assembly).
- Practitioner level in Electronic design, signal and power integrity, and safety aspects (isolation and creepage).
- An educational background (MBO/HBO/WO) in a relevant technical field.
- A candidate with several years of concrete work experience in PCBA design.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive team player.
- Enthusiasm for AI, tooling, and scripting.
