Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Developer to join our Core Banking development team. As a Software Developer, you will primarily focus on the Java ecosystem for backend development and utilize React for frontend applications. Your work will have a direct impact on the efficiency and reliability of our Core Banking systems, and you'll collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and challenging environment. This is a full-time position, located in Romania or available remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services.
• Design and implement user-friendly React based frontend.
• Participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), from design and coding to testing and deployment.
• Experience in Git for version control, code collaboration, and repository management.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java backend and React, JavaScript & TypeScript frontend technologies.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices in software engineering.
• Good understanding of relational databases.
• Design and develop Microservices systems with Java, Spring.
• Good understanding of object-oriented concepts and technologies such as software architecture, design patterns and best practices.
• Experience with Git for version control and code collaboration.
• Self-motivated and driven to deliver high-quality code and solutions within project timelines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
• Experience with agile development practices and Scrum.
• Experience in Card domain: Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Customer, Loan, Scoring and Digital Channel Integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
