For our client, a European main player in allergen immunotherapies, we’re looking to recruit a IT Director to provide strategic direction and leadership over the department. This position is specifically interesting as you will be able to build, refine and achieve full compliance and security across a complex, regulated IT landscape.

About your role

In this role, you will take full ownership of the IT function, operating at both strategic and operational level, with a strong focus on security, continuity and scalability.

• Define and execute the IT strategy in line with business objectives
• Advise senior leadership on technology trends, risks and opportunities
• Oversee IT operations, infrastructure and enterprise systems end-to-end
• Lead IT programmes from analysis through implementation and optimisation
• Ensure reliable, scalable and future-proof IT environments across affiliates
• Manage vendors, contracts, budgets and cost efficiency
• Establish strong governance, IT policies and operating standards

What you bring

You are a senior IT leader who combines technical depth with business acumen and people leadership, comfortable operating in regulated environments.

• Master’s degree with a strong IT or technology focus
• 10+ years of senior IT experience, preferably in regulated industries
• Proven track record in IT strategy, architecture and systems delivery
• Solid experience with IT infrastructure, operations and security frameworks
• Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams (10+ FTE)
• Strong project and budget management capabilities
• Clear communication skills at management and board level
