About The Role
As a Technical Field Support Engineer, you will provide expert technical support during the installation and commissioning of KONE products. You will work closely with installation and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues, ensure compliance with KONE’s safety and quality standards, and support the successful delivery of our solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site support for installation and commissioning issues
- Support digital, APF, software, and BIM-related topics
- Ensure customer ride comfort requirements are met through technical expertise
- Participate in product development matrix audits
- Pilot and implement new products and solutions
- Contribute to the development of the installation method
- Support troubleshooting tool development
- Train local trainers and employees during site visits or scheduled sessions
- Collaborate with global and local training centers
- Prepare quality reports after site visits
- Identify issues requiring corrective actions and follow KONE processes
- Participate in closing reviews to capture learnings and improve business practices
- Operate strictly within KONE safety requirements
- Ensure installations follow global processes and guidelines
- Report safety concerns and stop operations when hazards are detected
- Support people management activities with the Technical Field Support Manager
- Drive competence development and identify skill gaps
- Allocate daily work and monitor team performance
- Support the continuous improvement of the Technical Field Support function
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or sub-disciplines
- Good level of English
- Similar work experience in E&E sector is a clear plus
- Strong technical knowledge of product and service solutions, including digital, APF, software, and BIM
- Commitment to safety and sustainable solutions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Adherence to procedures and guidelines
- High attention to quality and detail
- Analytical and structured problem-solving
- Customer-focused approach
- Willingness to travel about 50% of the time
- Active driver
- Lives in Ankara or Istanbul
