We are a dynamic and fast-growing IT company specialising in cutting-edge technology solutions for businesses of all sizes. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and motivated Senior Information Technology Support Engineer to join our team.
Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Technology Support Engineer to provide advanced technical support, manage IT infrastructure, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT operations. The ideal candidate will act as an escalation point for complex issues, support cloud and on-premises environments, and mentor junior IT staff while ensuring high service quality and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex IT incidents and problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, servers, storage, virtualisation platforms, and enterprise applications.
Microsoft 365 & Cloud Services Management
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Manage Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune, Conditional Access, Microsoft Defender, DLP policies, and cloud security configurations.
Network & IT Infrastructure Support
- Support and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, switches, and routing devices.
- Manage on-premises and cloud servers, including virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar).
IT Security & Compliance
- Implement and enforce IT security policies, MFA, endpoint protection, access controls, and monitoring solutions.
- Support internal and external audits, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.
IT Projects & Implementations
- Assist in planning and executing IT projects, system upgrades, migrations, and deployment of new technologies.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
Help desk & Service Management
- Monitor and manage the IT help desk/ticketing system to ensure SLA compliance.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Continuously improve IT processes and service delivery.
User Support, Training & Mentoring
- Provide onboarding and offboarding support for users.
- Train end users on IT systems and best practices.
- Mentor and guide junior IT support engineers.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with IT management, cyber security teams, and business units.
- Represent IT in meetings, audits, and technical discussions when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure/Entra ID, and IT security technologies.
Technical Skills:
- Windows OS (Windows 10/11, Windows Server)
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory
- Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewalls)
- Endpoint security, backup & recovery solutions
- Virtualization platforms (VMware / Hyper-V)
