Job Purpose
- To perform detailed Hardware & Software engineering configuration, which include design, assembly, and testing of CENTUM VP / ProSafe-RS Systems & Yokogawa Advance Solutions and Human Machine Interface as per the Project requirements.
- Reviewing the Project technical specification requirements and Standards.
- Review of work procedures and product specifications.
- Reporting to the Lead engineer on day-to-day activities.
- Performing detailed System and Application Software engineering, design, assembly and testing of the control system as per the Customer requirements.
- Preparation of Bill of Material for various Systems.
- Coordination with Customer Engineers for technical issues.
- Preparation of Purchase Order for various Projects Materials.
- Supporting Project Engineer as and when required for technical issues.
- Coordination with Lead Project Engineer for technical interface.
- Coordination with Document Controller for Control of Project documentation and QC Engineer for Inspection and Testing related activities.
- Adhering to the Project Schedule & Project Quality Plan.
- Participating site acceptance test, commissioning, and start-up activities.
- A Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation or Electrical/Electronics) / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Pro-active and Self motivated
- Team Player
- Familiar with Computer & Networking basics.
- Knowledge of IT basics and Microsoft Applications.
- Project Report writing and Good Communication & Presentation skills in English.
- Fast learning skills in Hardware & Application Software engineering and trouble shooting.
- Should be able to travel to customer locations & sites as needed.
