Job Title: Pega PRPC Developer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pega PRPC Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale Pega applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Pega PRPC development, workflow design, JavaScript, and application lifecycle management, along with the ability to provide technical leadership across projects.
Required Skills:
- Pega PRPC (Certified / Foundation level experience)
- JavaScript
- Digital application development
- Strong understanding of Pega Guardrails and best practices
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Pega PRPC development
- Strong knowledge of application development lifecycle, including release management, migrations, and branch management
- Experience with job schedulers such as Control-M
- Expertise in designing, architecting, and delivering Pega PRPC-based solutions across multiple projects
- Proven mastery of Pega Development standards
- Pega-recommended education or certification up to Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) level is a strong plus
- Ability to implement technically complex workflows, rules, and data structures
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Pega applications and interfaces
- Develop new features and provide problem identification and resolution
- Assist with troubleshooting and debugging Pega applications, including root cause analysis of production issues
- Maintain and update documentation related to guardrails, best practices, and policies, and train team members on critical success factors
- Configure web applications with Avaya/Genesys Telecom solutions using PegaCall CTI to implement screen-pop functionality
- Deliver innovative solutions to address complex business requirements
- Participate actively in project teams, taking roles such as Developer, Technical Lead, or Project Manager based on experience
- Demonstrate technical leadership in the selection of technologies, tools, and solution designs
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, customers, vendors, and management
- Conduct technical walkthroughs, provide project status updates, and deliver accurate technical documentation
