Job Description
As the Vice President of Innovation, you will lead Experian Health's innovation strategy. You will identify and scale, new products, capabilities, and business models that increase sustainable growth and competitive differentiation.
You will operate at the intersection of healthcare, data, analytics, AI, and new technologies. You will partner with Product, Technology, Commercial, and Strategy leaders to turn ideas into market ready solutions.
The VP of Innovation will balance leadership with hands-on execution, and foster a culture of experimentation while delivering measurable results.
Innovation Strategy & Portfolio Leadership
- Define the enterprise innovation strategy, with Experian Health's growth priorities and long-term vision
- Build and manage a balanced innovation portfolio (incremental, adjacent, and transformational plans)
- Identify latest healthcare trends, technologies, and regulatory shifts to inform innovation roadmaps
- Lead discovery, incubation, and validation of new product concepts, platforms, and partnerships
- Partner with Product and Engineering to transition successful pilots into scalable, commercial solutions
- Champion human-centered design, rapid prototyping, and experimentation
- Use Experian's core strengths in data, identity, analytics, and AI to unlock new healthcare use cases
- Explore responsible AI and advanced analytics applications across patient access, revenue cycle, identity, and fraud
- Ensure innovations meet healthcare compliance, privacy, and security standards (HIPAA, data governance)
- Collaborate with Product, Technology, Strategy, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to accelerate innovation outcomes
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with startups, academic institutions, technology vendors, and healthcare ecosystems
- Represent Experian Health in innovation forums, industry events, and executive briefings
- Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and calculated risk-taking across the organization
- Establish innovation governance, funding models, and success metrics
- Track Return on investment, adoption, and effect of innovation and communicate progress to executive leadership
- 12+ years' experience in innovation, product strategy, digital transformation, or technology leadership
- 7+ years' experience launching and scaling new products or business models in complex, regulated industries
- Experience with healthcare technology, data, and analytics ecosystems
- Experience leading teams and influencing senior executives
- Experience in healthcare services, health IT, FinTech adjacent healthcare, or data/analytics companies
- Exposure to AI/ML, revenue cycle, or patient access solutions
- MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, or healthcare

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education. You will be also eligible for a variable pay opportunity.
