The Role
The Integrations team is responsible for integrating 3rd party solutions with the Sauce Labs platform. Being a Software Engineer in the Integrations team means you will take care of all new and existing services, APIs, and other resources our team owns. This includes wide inter-team collaboration and product requirements discussion.
Responsibilities
- Extend and scale the existing backend applications written in Python and Go
- Strive for constant improvement and contribute to the power of our agile development culture
- Collaborate with other teams on building our platform
- Participate in on-call rotations to help teams troubleshoot urgent customer-facing problems and other engineering issues
- Work on UI components for integrations
- Work from the office five days a week (located in Gurgaon)
- Approximately 5-8 years of experience
- Experience in modern languages like Golang and Python
- Experience working with external APIs, understanding the documentation
- Experience writing customer-facing documentation
- Ability to design new APIs following company standards
- Experience with CI/CD and Docker
- Experience with message queues
- Experience working with frontend languages and frameworks
- Strong sense of ownership and passion for engineering great products with stellar user experience
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience with other programming languages
- Experience working in both high volatility (startup) and bigger organization environments
- Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with observability and monitoring
- Experience with Jenkins
