Role

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design and build the interfaces and logic that bring Octotronic’s industrial data platform to life. You shape the user experience for engineers, operators and analysts who rely on our system every day in live production environments. You will work across React, TypeScript and backend logic to transform complex industrial data into intuitive, real time tools.

This role has direct customer visibility. The features you build are used immediately in factories worldwide, and you will receive first hand feedback from users on the shopfloor. You will collaborate closely with product, design and backend engineering to deliver end to end solutions that are clean, maintainable and robust.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive and scalable frontends in React and TypeScript
• Implement frontend logic, data flows and API integrations
• Translate complex data structures into clear and usable UI components
• Collaborate with backend and product on feature design and architecture
• Improve existing codebases with structure, clarity and maintainability
• Participate in customer facing feedback cycles to refine UX and usability

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as a frontend or full stack engineer
• Degree in Computer Science or comparable technical education
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
• Confident with HTML, CSS and Tailwind
• Basic understanding of backend concepts, ideally FastAPI or similar
• Ability to independently deliver features from idea to implementation
• Clean, structured and maintainable coding style
• Valid Swiss work permit

Nice to Have

• SQL fundamentals
• Experience with API design, data models and system flows
• Ability to read and improve existing codebases
• Basic knowledge of Go
• Understanding of industrial or production processes
