We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mobile App Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality mobile applications. In this role, you’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver reliable and user-friendly mobile experiences in a remote-first environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define app features and requirements
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and backend systems
- Test, debug, and optimise applications for performance and usability
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Maintain documentation and support app releases and updates
- Stay up to date with mobile development trends and platform updates
- 2–5+ years of experience in mobile app development (or strong project/portfolio experience)
- Experience with iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java) development
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is a plus
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
- Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with backend services
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
- Fluent in English
- Based in Australia with full legal right to work (no visa sponsorship available)
- Fully remote role within Australia
