About The Role
This is an exciting role for an IT Support Specialist to join E1, which will see you supporting our remotely & globally distributed team of 115 employees with all things IT!
This IT Support Specialist role will support the team with:
- User Support: Provide first-level technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Ticket Management: Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation of issues and solutions
- Equipment Setup: Assist in setting up and configuring new hardware and software for employees, including desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates, backups, and system checks, to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT assets, configurations, and procedures, and update documentation as needed
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team to escalate complex issues and assist in larger projects as required
About You
- You have a strong understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, MacOS), and common software applications
- You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
- You're a clear and transparent communicator and have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with non-technical users
- You've demonstrated a strong technical interest, particularly in Cyber Security or related IT fields
- You're a systems thinker interested in improving the efficiency of internal team processes and tooling
- You're detail-oriented and organised
- You can work independently and manage your time effectively
- You like to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty wherever you can, and have an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
- You're currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field
- If you have prior experience in a technical support role, it's a bonus, but not mandatory
- You'll need to be able to come into our office regularly (not every day, but a few times a week) to support technical needs
- You'll need to be legally eligible to work in Australia and based in Melbourne

We're transparent about salary ranges at E1, and that extends externally. Our salary range for this role is $70,000 + superannuation.
