Chief C++ Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Chief C/C++ Engineer with experience in custom socket-based compute clusters built in C.

Responsibilities

• Design and support advanced socket-based compute clusters using C++
• Refactor, enhance, and resolve issues in legacy codebases to boost system efficiency
• Diagnose and address problems within custom compute cluster environments
• Work closely with architects and fellow engineers to establish technical strategies and system blueprints
• Engage in all stages of the software development process, from initial requirements through to launch and ongoing maintenance

Requirements

• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software engineering roles
• Minimum of 2 years overseeing and guiding development teams, offering leadership and support
• Participation in at least 2 end-to-end project deliveries or involvement in multiple projects spanning various development stages
• Demonstrated expertise in C and C++ for building intricate software systems
• In-depth knowledge of socket-level programming and principles of distributed computing
• Practical experience creating and supporting custom compute clusters with C++
• Capable of working autonomously and collaborating with remote teams
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities for complex technical issues
• Strong English communication skills (B2+ or higher) and background in direct stakeholder engagement
