To strengthen our team, we are looking for an AI Engineer / Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) for our office in Vienna, starting immediately.

How will you support us?

• Design and implement the core AI engine that executes structured workflows based on JSON-defined process steps
• Build conversational capabilities enabling users to interact with workflows through natural language (speech-to-text, intent recognition, context handling)
• Integrate language models, reasoning systems, and decision-making logic to autonomously guide users through multi-step industrial workflows
• Develop and maintain AI inference pipelines running locally on mobile and AR devices (no backend dependency during workflow execution)
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate workflow concepts into robust, scalable AI features
• Create technical documentation, architecture specifications, and internal knowledge bases
• Participate in an agile development environment (SCRUM) and ensure continuous improvement of the AI stack

What should you bring?

• Completed technical education (HTL, University, or FH) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field
• Several years of practical experience in one or more AI domains (LLMs, NLP, speech processing, reinforcement learning, agent frameworks, prompt engineering)
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, HuggingFace, etc.)
• Experience designing distributed or mobile AI systems that run partially or fully on-device is a strong plus
• Familiarity with UI/UX concepts and user interaction flows (voice, multimodal interfaces, AR devices)
• Autonomous working style, strong communication skills, creativity, and a passion for solving complex problems
• Very good English skills
