XR Engineer, New Venture (Mobile / Spatial / 3D)

Who we are

Rendin is an Estonian proptech startup making renting safe and fair. We are the largest direct-from-landlord home rental platform in Estonia, with over 10,000 homes in our portfolio.

We are profitable, growing, and now incubating a new product venture inside the company — one that expands beyond renting and into how people understand, plan, and improve homes.

The role

We’re looking for the first XR Engineer to join the team behind this new venture.

Your primary focus will be the mobile platform for data capture — the part of the product where users interact with their physical space and turn it into something digital and actionable. This means working with cameras, sensors, 3D representations, and highly interactive UX.

This is an early-stage effort, you’ll have real ownership. One week you will be deep in sensor-level work, the next refining UX flows, and another discussing product direction or early go-to-market ideas.

Who we are looking for

Must have

• Strong engineering fundamentals and curiosity about how things work under the hood
• Experience with or strong interest in XR/AR/VR, 3D engines, or mobile gaming environments
• Hands-on experience building mobile applications (native and/or cross-platform)
• Comfort working in an early-stage, fast-changing environment

Extra points

• Experience with camera pipelines, spatial mapping, or sensor fusion
• Curiosity about housing, renovation, or physical-world problems
• Background in game development or interactive 3D systems
• Product or UX sensitivity — you care about how things feel, not just how they work
• Prior startup or “zero-to-one” experience
