Role: Application Specialist for Telecom OSS Data Mediation

Location: Helsinki, Finland

Employment type: Full-time

Join a high-performing telecom engineering team as an L2 Support Engineer, where you will drive CI/CD automation, infrastructure modernization, and operational excellence across BSS/OSS systems. You will work on large-scale telecom platforms including billing, CRM, provisioning, and network management while enabling faster releases, high availability, and resilient operations. This role offers deep exposure to Kubernetes, cloud environments, automation frameworks, monitoring tools, and multi-vendor telecom ecosystems in an Agile and DevOps-driven environment.


Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Netwiser and Zabbix services; triage incidents and resolve application-level issues.
  • Ensure accurate collection and processing of call traffic volumes, quality metrics, and trend data for national and international routes.
  • Maintain and enhance PHP-based components for mediation, reporting, and UI customization.
  • Support integration with OSS/BSS systems for Service Assurance workflows and reporting.
  • Generate reports for SLA compliance, traffic trends, and QoS metrics.


Experience & Skills Requirements:

Must have:

  • Hands-on experience with CGI Netwiser for traffic and QoS monitoring.
  • Strong PHP scripting skills for mediation and UI customization.
  • Familiarity with Zabbix for infrastructure monitoring and alerting.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and telecom OSS Service Assurance workflows.
  • Understanding of fixed network technologies and call traffic metrics.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and troubleshooting.


Good to have:

  • Experience with integration frameworks (REST APIs, Webhooks).
  • Familiarity with TM Forum standards (eTOM, SID, ODA).
  • Exposure to Elastic/Kibana or similar observability tools.
