As an HR Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in helping us implement and execute scalable HR processes to support those employees. This is an opportunity to gain a comprehensive introduction to HR operations as part of a growing team at the forefront of the mobility industry.

Our teams of world-class engineers, data-scientists, product managers, operations specialists, marketers, transit experts and more bring cutting-edge AI-powered software and innovative technology-enabled operations to our partners across the globe. Founded in 2012, Via builds solutions to digitize, automate, and enable data-driven decision making for entire transportation networks; fixed-route buses, microtransit, paratransit, school buses, autonomous vehicles, and more.

As an HR Operations Assistant, you will play a key role in helping us implement and execute scalable HR processes to support those employees. This is an opportunity to gain a comprehensive introduction to HR operations as part of a growing team at the forefront of the mobility industry.
What You'll Do:
- Provide timely email support to employees on a variety of HR topics
- Issue various employer certificates and keep our HR database up to date
- Contribute to HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and benefits
- Ensure that our drivers feel supported and help resolve their questions or concerns by optimizing systems and collaborating across teams
- Minimum of 1+ year of work experience in HR operations, customer service, operations, or a similar role
- You speak fluent German (C2 or native) and English (C1 or C2)
- You are a good communicator who can find right tone for different stakeholders
- You are tech-savvy and enjoy working with modern IT tools, always seeking ways to gain efficiency.
- Possibility to work 100% work from home, as long as you’re based in Germany. If you’re based in Berlin, possibility to our office in Mitte as many days as you’d like.
