The Ministry of Economic Affairs (EZ) tender was (jointly) awarded to the Yellow Friday and Sogeti consortium. Yellow Friday is responsible for hiring non-in-house personnel. Sogeti is responsible for contracting (including account management). There is no subcontracting or fee stacking, as we are a single provider for EZ.

As a senior Java developer in the TVS DevOps team, you are an IT all-rounder and feel responsible for the optimal functioning of the systems, with a focus on development. You will have considerable freedom to determine the direction of development, and you will also contribute to management and testing. You will also have time for innovation. Do you work on the development, management and optimization of Java applications?

Prepare your work (including creating user stories).

Make realistic estimates regarding the time, capacity and resources required.

You help monitor the stability, availability, quality and continuity of the product.

Help resolve second and third line incidents and eventually participate in standby services.

Background assignment

About the Access Granting Service: The TVS makes it easy for government organizations to access their digital services for businesses and citizens using federated login methods such as eHerkenning and DigiD. The TVS acts as a gateway for service providers, eliminating the need for government organizations to develop and manage their own connections for these login methods. The TVS thus relieves government organizations of a burden. The TVS was recently included in the Generic Digital Infrastructure (GDI), which will lead to strong growth in the coming years. TVS must continuously evolve to meet new customer needs and respond to new developments in digital access, with a focus on scaling, performance and availability of services, and security/privacy. The TVS runs in Docker containers on a Kubernetes platform, where scalability and performance are paramount. To be even better prepared for the expected growth and to meet the requirements of the connected (and to be connected) parties, a process has been started to migrate to the public cloud.

To demand

1. Completed HBO or bachelor's degree in a relevant ICT field.
2. At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar assignment and similar functional environment.
3. Demonstrable years of current experience as a senior JAVA Devops Developer with demonstrable broad and deep JAVA knowledge in a complex (10 years)

JAVA environment

1. Extensive knowledge of and experience with Dutch authentication standards based on SAML (DigiD and eHerkenning) (4 years)
2. Knowledge of and experience with APIs and interface specifications (4 years)
3. Extensive experience with cryptographic techniques such as signing and encryption (4 years)
